World Cup 2014 Round of 16 Picks

It's been a while! I stopped posting while the NBA season was coming to an end and I'm back for a special edition of Perfect Picks! The World Cup 2014 Round of 16 is almost over but there are still a couple of great games to watch.

World Cup 2014

Argentina vs Switzerland

This one will be a great game to watch. Both teams are powerhouses that will deliver a lot of action. Their defense is nothing to be proud about but they both have amazing offensive power. Switzerland's group stages were looking good until they got blown up by France. Their defense is still weak and with a heavy offense like Argentina they will have trouble defending. Expect Messi to come through for Argentina again in a heavy offense game.

3:1 Argentina

USA vs Belgium

A very interesting game. USA beat all odds and made it out of the group of death. They showed that they have it in them to win big matches. Belgium was in a weak group and made it out easily. This game is going to be all about defense. It's going to be a standstill. Expect a late goal for the win or even it being pushed to the dreadful penalty shootouts.

1:0 USA or 4:3 USA(Penalty)

NBA DRAFT 2014

Well that draft was exciting. 1. Wiggins 2. Parker 3. Embiid.

Cavaliers
Wiggins was my favorite player in this draft. He's just an athletic freak! He is going to have a huge season with the Cavs alongside Irving. Cavaliers still are not a top contender even for making the playoffs. They still have so many weaknesses. What will happen to Deng? Probably out. But expect every Cavaliers game to be a high powered offensive game with plenty of highlights.

Bucks
Well the Bucks got exactly who they wanted. It was always going to be Parker. Wiggins had no interest in the team and Embiid is out of the question for them. Bucks are still going to be building their roster but Parker will make a huge impact his rookie season. Alongside Antetokounmpo, a healthy and motivated Sanders, Ilyasova, and maybe Brandon Knight, this team can develop into a great organization. It will take a couple years for all the pieces to work well with each other.

Sixers
That Embiid injury reall shook up the draft. Sixers are again with a lottery center that might be out all year, but what choice did they have. They also have Saric who won't be coming to the NBA for 2 years. There are reports however that the Sixers might help pay off the contract Saric has with his Turkish team in order for him to come straight here. Time will only tell. But just imagine the twin towers the Sixers have. It's exciting to see.

What do you think about each team's draft grade? Who came out with the most gain?
